Is my Email setup?
Your master mail account is automatically setup. Your username,
password, and mail server configurations are in the "Account
Setup" letter sent to you when your account was setup. You
will need to set up your own individual email accounts within the
control panel.
What is the difference
between POP3 and Forwarding?
POP3 is where you store your e-mail on our mail server. You then
configure your mail client (for example - Internet Explorer, Netscape,
Eudora) to read your mail directly from our mail server. Forwarding
is when our mail server forwards e-mail to your local ISP or e-mail
address instead of storing it. When we set up your account, all
of your e-mail is forwarded to the e-mail address you supplied to
us.
How do I create additional
POP accounts and Email forwarding?
This can be done in your control panel. Once you login, click on
"Mail" and then type the name of the mail address your
want to create and click "Add". Then follow the simple
procedures. You have the ability to create, edit, and/or delete
your own email accounts. For more information on setting up mail

How do I check my
Emails?
You can use any email clients (ie. Outlook, Eudora etc..) or our
Web Based Mail to check your pop email accounts. The web based mail
is located at webmail.yourdomain.com. Just replace yourdomain.com
with your domain name.
Can you forward all
my email to a separate email address? If so, how do I do it?
Yes, you can set up any email to be automatically forwarded to any
address you choose within the control panel. For more detailed instructions,

What do I use for
my SMTP?
You may use your dialup ISP for the SMTP. GetaHostNow.com doesn't
offer outgoing SMTP.
How do I check my
e-mail through a web browser (webmail)?
Go to http://webmail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with
your domain name) and simply enter the username and password you
set up within your control panel. If you did not set up any email
accounts, then you will not be able to log in until you do.
How much space do
I have for my POP Accounts?
We do not limit the amount of space on your POP. You can have as
much as you want.
How do I setup Auto
Responders?

Can I change my own
MX Records?
No, we do not allow you to make these types of changes. However,
we will do it for you free of charge, just send an email to us at
support@getahostnow.comt with the information you need changed and
we will be more than happy to do it for you. We process all changes
and make them every 12 hours, so your changes will be made within
24 hours or less from the time you request it.
